Colleen finds that her training and expertise as an artist (she has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the school of visual arts in nyc) blends well with her career as a hair stylist. originally from upstate ny, colleen has made asheville home since 1996.
“I love working with all types of hair, especially curly hair and see the haircut and coloring experience as a co-creative process. My goal is to provide the tools that let you know how to best care for your hair. I want you to love your hair. My hope is that my clients look forward to an uplifting and pampering experience-it’s part of my aim to provide service of an exceptional quality.”
Colleen’s favorite hair care products are Bumble and bumbles curl conscious defining cream and thickening hairspray.
When she is not doing art or hairstyling, she enjoys music, films, fashion, yoga and gardening.
