I just walked in to Ananda–no appointment–and was in the chair in no time. I have to say that Cloud gave me the best haircut I’ve gotten in a long time: exactly what I described, and better than I imagined my hair could look. I highly recommend Cloud as a stylist. She was professional, friendly and gentle. I will definitely be asking for her in the future!

I have lived in the Asheville area on and off for 16 years and have had an extremely hard time finding a barber or salon to cut my hair exactly how I wanted until I found ananda and stylist Kendall Knepp. He was able to achieve the exact cut and style that I was looking for. I am very happy with my hair and have decided to make ananda the only place I’ll go for any of my hair needs. I often recommend ananda to anyone who is not happy with their hair or current barber/salon.

By far the best stylist I have ever been to. He not only listened to what I wanted to do with my hair and the troubles I was having but spent time telling me what products to use and how to go about getting the look I wanted. It is easy for hair to look great when a stylist does it but when you get home is another story. He really spent time telling me a few different styles I could do on my own and made sure I was comfortable before I left the salon. For as long as I live in Asheville Wesley will be the only stylist I go to.

I was visiting a friend from Asheville who introduced me to Ananda Hair Studio. I got a fantastic cut and highlights from Katie M. To top it off the entire experience left me feeling so warm, from sipping white wine and sharing stories, to the lovely thank you note I received in the mail. This is truly a special place- don’t miss it!

Getting My hair dyed at Ananda was a great experience ! The way Jade did my hair was fantastic. Jade putting into consideration my living in Florida and how the salt water could potentially affect the color was extremely important too. And I am glad that she did. Everyone loved my ombré. !!! I had a very similar experience! I came in very last minute with a disastrous hair cut and coloring job and the owner graciously saved me! He worked miracles on my hair and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed.

Ananda is the only place I will go to get my hair done. The atmosphere is wonderful and the stylists genuinely care about all of their customers. I would recommend Ananda to everyone.

you have come highly recommended to me. was wondering if you could give me an estimate on a trim (maybe), color (full with highlights) and style. my hair is curly and fine and i have a LOT of it. in it’s natural state, it hits the bra line (as far as length). i do not want a major cut – maybe no cut at all. as far as style, i usually like to have my stylist flat iron it, as it takes me forever to do it myself. no style is needed if it’s too pricey. i just need a great color and highlight job done before my friend’s wedding (leaving oct 6). as i’ve spent a great amount on her wedding already, i’m hoping to find someone in town that is reasonable. cash flow is low. thx much!
